How to Book an Appointment at Medical Park and Liv Hospital Through MPGCARE

How to book a Medical Park Trabzon or Liv Hospital appointment through MPGCARE: who books it, what to send, how long confirmation takes and what to bring.

MPGCARE books your appointment at Medical Park Trabzon or Liv Hospital on your behalf. You tell us what you need and share your medical reports. Our coordinators then arrange the doctor, hospital and date. Once the doctor and hospital are agreed, the appointment is usually confirmed within one to two days. There is no prepayment to MPGCARE. You pay the hospital directly.

Many patients from Georgia first search for “medical park trabzon” and are not sure whether to call the hospital, write to us, or simply turn up. This guide explains each step, from your first message to what happens after your first examination.

Who Books The Appointment And How It Starts

MPGCARE coordinates the appointment with the hospital for you. You do not need to contact the hospital yourself.

Medical Park Trabzon appointment

The process usually starts like this:

  1. You contact us. Use our online form, call our main line or reach our Batumi office.
  2. You tell us why you are applying. Explain your complaint or diagnosis and, if you have one, the type of doctor you think you need.
  3. You share your existing reports. Doctor’s letters, test results and imaging reports help the hospital team understand your case.
  4. We match you with a department, doctor and hospital. Our coordinators check availability with the hospital.
  5. We confirm the details with you. You receive the date, the hospital, the documents to bring and your travel plan.

MPGCARE handles communication and travel coordination. Examinations, diagnosis and treatment decisions are made by the hospital’s authorised doctors.

If you are not sure which specialist you need, start with a short message describing your symptoms. Our team will tell you which department fits.

Which Hospitals In Trabzon You Can Choose

MPGCARE works with two Medical Park hospitals in Trabzon.

Hospital Location Notes
Medical Park Karadeniz Trabzon city centre International patient unit with support in English, Russian and Georgian. About 10 minutes from Trabzon Airport.
Medical Park Yıldızlı Akçaabat, Trabzon Larger campus with oncology units and advanced imaging.

Hospital details are taken from MPGCARE’s hospital pages .

Which Medical Park Trabzon hospital you go to depends on your treatment, the doctor you need and appointment availability. If you have a preference for a particular hospital or doctor, tell us at the start and we will try to arrange it there.

What about Liv Hospital? MPGCARE’s partner network includes Liv Hospital in Samsun and several Liv Hospital branches in Istanbul. If your treatment is better suited to a Liv Hospital, our coordinators will explain the options and the travel involved. You can see all partner hospitals on our hospitals page.

Patients travelling from Georgia can read our guide on how to travel from Batumi to Trabzon for medical treatment. It explains the Sarpi border crossing and the free patient transfer.

What To Send Before The Appointment Is Confirmed

To start, share your reason for applying and any existing medical documents. The exact list depends on the department, but these are usually helpful:

  • Doctor’s reports and discharge summaries
  • Recent blood test and laboratory results
  • Imaging reports such as ultrasound, CT or MRI
  • A list of medicines you take now
  • Your passport or ID details for registration

If the hospital team needs extra documents or tests, our coordinators will tell you.

Documents in Georgian. MPGCARE translates Georgian documents free of charge, so you do not need to arrange a translation yourself.

How to send them. You can upload files through the form on our contact page. You can also ask our Batumi office which channel is best for your case.

What the offer includes. After reviewing your documents, the hospital prepares a treatment offer, usually within about three days. Each offer states the scope of treatment, the estimated duration and the cost items. It also says whether accommodation, transport or interpreter support is included. The final treatment plan and cost are confirmed after the authorised doctor has examined you.

If you have your reports ready, sending them early is the fastest way to get a clear answer.

How Long Confirmation Takes

Once the doctor and hospital are agreed, the appointment is usually confirmed within one to two days. This is based on MPGCARE’s written information, October 2026.

Step Typical time
Treatment offer after documents are reviewed About 3 days
Appointment confirmation 1–2 days

These times can be longer if extra tests are needed or the doctor has limited availability. Our coordinators keep you updated until the date is fixed.

Payment. MPGCARE does not ask for prepayment. You pay directly at the hospital cashier, and the hospital gives you a receipt.

What To Bring On The Day Of Your Visit

Prepare these items the day before your appointment:

  • Passport or ID card. Georgian citizens can enter Turkey visa-free for up to 90 days with either document. This is according to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, accessed 13 October 2026.
  • All your medical reports, including originals of any imaging discs or films.
  • Your medicines and their prescriptions. Turkish customs accepts a prescription or doctor’s report for medicines carried for personal treatment.
  • Your appointment confirmation and your coordinator’s phone number.
  • A list of questions you want to ask the doctor.

Remember the time difference. Georgia is one hour ahead of Turkey, so check that your appointment time is in Turkish time.

Interpreter And Coordinator Support

Clear communication matters as much as the appointment itself. MPGCARE provides interpreter support during your treatment process. Our Batumi team speaks Georgian and Russian.

Your coordinator:

  • Confirms your appointment and travel details
  • Helps you understand the hospital’s instructions
  • Keeps in touch with the hospital team on your behalf
  • Remains your contact point if plans change

At Medical Park Karadeniz, the hospital’s own international patient unit also offers support in English, Russian and Georgian.

If you have a question at any stage, contact your coordinator directly rather than waiting until your visit.

What Happens After The First Examination

At your first examination, the doctor reviews your reports, examines you and may request further tests. After this, the doctor confirms the diagnosis and the treatment plan.

Liv Hospital appointment

What usually happens next:

  • Treatment can begin, either on the same visit or on a planned date.
  • The cost is confirmed. If extra tests or procedures are needed, the cost may change. You will be informed before anything is done.
  • Follow-up visits are planned, if your treatment requires them.
  • Your return trip is arranged with your coordinator.

If treatment will last longer than your visa-free stay, MPGCARE can support your residence permit application.
